Has anyone used the MFF recipe and added Jello. I have seen it used with the MMF but we love MFF and I need red so I thought about using jello to get the base started.

what is MFF??? MMF is MarshMallowFondant, but I can't think of what MFF would be - maybe i haven't had enough coffee

Yes you can - I've seen other threads and other sites than use flavored gelatin as the base rather than the clear. Another trick is add a package of unsweetened KoolAid to the syrup - altho this does add a potent kiddie flavor, it does add some color and reduce the added color needs.
