Hi all,
This week is my first time making a cake with flowers on it. Not the kind with just the top of the flower... I'm making a backyard cake so I will need to make mini flowers on stems, some trees and bushes. If anyone has tips on how to do this the easiest way please let me know. not sure if i should make them out of fondant, gumpaste, royal icing, buy them pre-made... help!! lol Just trying to get my plan together since I will be starting the small pieces of the cake design tomorrow.

Gumpaste works the best for flowers on stems.
