I am very discouraged with Cake Central. It seems that the only cakes that get attention are fondant cakes. Some of us don't do fondant, and I love buttercream cakes. Seems like only fondant cakes win.

Bronwen Webber won on Challenge that aired Sunday night with a buttercream wedding cake that was 6 feet tall!

What a coincidence. I just did another fondant cake and while I was kneading and rolling and trying to get the right color, etc., I thought "I wish I were doing a bc cake!

I think there are alot of beautiful buttercream cakes on this site. I ice in BC, but do alot of fondant accents. It is true that you can do a lot more with fondant them BC.
