I have a customer that will be having 2 children with peanut allergies. She requested cookies or cupcakes for them. How do I make sure my recipes are peanut free? Does anyone have any recipes like this? I make the scratch WASC cake. This is something I have not encountered and kind of scares me. Any help would be appreciated.

fisrt i would find out HOW allergic they are. Some people can't have ANY food that is prepared in a kitchen that even has peanut items in them. (so even that peanut butter in the cupboard that you made a sandwhich last a couple of weeks ago could cause issues)

I know that there are peanut free mixes out there, but i don't know what they are off the top of my head. It's time that you take a look at all the ingredients you use and see what the packaging says. If they are produced in a plant that has peanuts or other allergans they are supposed to have it printed on the packaging.
