I'm making cupcakes for a party tomorrow morning. The icing has whipping cream in it so I know it needs to be refridgerated. Also, I'm sprinkling them with edible glitter...not sure if the fridge will mess up this effect. Just looking for some advice...if I decorate them tonight and put them in the fridge...won't they dry out? I'd love any tips anyone can offer!

I use whipping cream in my bc all the time and I never put my cakes in the fridge. The recipe I use calls for 1/3-1/2 cups of cream and 2 lbs. (8 cups) of powdered sugar or a double batch (2/3- 1 cup of cream and 4 lbs. ps (16 cups ps). There's a small amount of cream to sugar so the sugar acts as a perservative. I don't know what recipe you're using, I'd ice my cupcakes, add the glitter after each (if using a crusting bc you want the glitter to stick to the wet icing before it crusts) and box up for delivery. HTH!
