Okay so im doing a wedding cake for a friend in which she hands me a leopard print fabric ribbon and tells me she wants not only a loopy bow on top of the cake but little bow tie bows glued to the side. Can i do this with royal icing? if so will the dark colors of the leopard print bleed through??

This is a fondant iced cake btw...please help!!

I use fabric ribbon a lot on buttercream & fondant and I have never has a problem with color bleeding or staining. I would use royal icing or just buttercream to glue thre ribbons on.
