I have no kids who might be running around sick. I have no pets. I have a separate room to store all my cake "stuff". I have a spotless house. But, can I make a cake and sell it? No. Can't be done in a residential area in our city. I'd have to move outside the city limits or rent a facility. So, I give up.

I thought cake decorating would be something fun to do once I retire, but it's next to impossible to set up a business here, so I am just putting pressure on the kids to have more babies, so I have more excuses to make cakes!

Thank you to everyone who commented icon_smile.gif I'm sorry I haven't responded, but I didn't get any notification about new comments icon_rolleyes.gif

For those who can't have a legal kitchen, I feel for you, and hope that the future will take care of that icon_wink.gif

Yes, I am very, very grateful that NC allows us to have a home-based kitchen business. icon_biggrin.gif
