Good morning ladies, I wanted to know if any one has used a cake ring to ice a cake. And if so was it a good investment? to be honest i would also like to know how exactly to use it. icon_smile.gif

How do you ice a cake with a cake ring?

You can cut rounds from sheets,
you can bake in some,
you can stack torted layers in them,
but I've never heard of icing a cake with one.

There are several threads about cake rings (or bake rings) to read in the forums. Let us know how they work for icing, or if perhaps you're thinking about a different product.
