Fancy Dessert Ideas For Thanksgiving
Lounge By CakesbyCarla Updated 9 Nov 2010 , 4:26pm by CakesbyCarla
I would love to try out something new this year. I am trying to come up with something that is recognizable enough that people will want to actually eat it, but different enough that most people will be impressed that I made it myself.
I am the "dessert" lady of the family, so I'm always trying to top what I've already done and I'd really like to knock everyone's socks off this year.
What sounds good to you?? OR What are YOU already planning on making for Thanksgiving Day dessert(s) this year??

HTH
I made this when the recipe first came out in Bon Appetit in 1992, and there were people circling the table afterward looking at it and begging me for the recipe. it's really rich and sooooo goooood. I make it every year now. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Double-Chocolate-Tangerine-Mousse-Cake-1094
