Just curious as to whether anyone has any advice on mixing to a true hot pink or knows of a good brand of coloring to use. Any help would be appreciated! icon_lol.gif

Use Americolor gel color "deep pink". Let it sit overnight as the color deepens the longer it sits. I think it makes a good hot pink. HTH

Try Duff's intense colors. They are available in Michael's. You can also achieve with Rose Pink by Wilton. Duff's is more intense though icon_biggrin.gif

I use electric pink by Americolor. If you look at some of my cakes that are hot pink that's what I used.

I have both the Wilton gel colors, pink and rose. If you use a lot of the pink, it will get very bright. If you use a lot of the rose color, it just gets a deeper rose color, so in my opinon, it's not a hot pink. The Wilton pink got really bright for me, what I would consider a "hot pink".

I just posted these and I used Wilton Rose pink. I think it turned out pretty good and I didn't even use that much color.

There's a set of 12 too, with two of each lime green, hot pink, etc.
