Can You Put A Cake Covered In Fondant In The Fridge?

Hi, I'm still a newbie with making cakes... I have a cake do this Friday. Wondering if i can put the finish cake in the fridge overnight?

Okay so there are a lot of opinions on this one and it will really be up to you which way you want to go with it. I personally put fondant cakes in the fridge. You just have to make sure to let it sit for a bit so that if there is any condensation it will evoprate. Do not touch it or try to try it off. And this is only if it appears. It will depend on a lot of things like your climate and all. But if your filling doesn't need to be refriderated then their really is no reason to put it in the fridge at all.

I do and they always come out just fine! I've googled and googled and googled this question and there are so many ABSOLUTELY NOTs and just as many "YES YOU CAN" that I just did it and it works just fine!
