I'm making a lemon cake from a box mix, and I'm just wondering if I can substitute lemonade for the water. Do I need to change anything else to make it turn out right?

I've used lemon juice instead of water that will work better.

i use lemonade for my lemon cake and no problem at all!

you can but you need to watch the sugar content. I normally do half water and half lemonade.
