Okay I wanted to know if anyone knows how I could make christmas lights (they don't have to actually light up) that I can put on a gingerbread house.

you can get little sets that are battery operated, for like doll houses.

I did in school , I made a gingerbread house and used the pull apart licorice and attached little round colored candies with royal icing.
