it's bigger and cheaper than my current place.

if i take it...it should take 6 to 8 weeks to get it ready, i'm thinking of asking for a break on the rent for the first 2 months....what do ya'll think?

It never hurts to ask!! you could ask for one month free if you sign the contract within 2 weeks. That way they will have incentive to give you the bonus month. I would love to be able to open my own shop..... so I am jealous!! Good luck!

I've never negotiated a lease but the leasing agent told me it's very common to give a couple months or more of free rent to entice renters. Good luck!

well it looks like i may be moving, he will give me a deal...now i just gotta check with the city planner and submit a floorplan to the health dept.

i'm in my 9th year at the place i'm at....theres A LOT to move!
