I need help! I currently have a 6" and 10" square in my oven and they have have been baking for close to an hr and they are still not done! I have no clue what is going on. The oven temp is at 350.
I think you need an oven thermometer. I doubt that it's holding 350 degrees.
I bake WASC cakes and a 10" would take about 55 mins. @ 325 for me.
Is your oven gas?? make sure the broiler part down at the bottom isn't closed all the way and/or the rubber seal is in place. You can easily be loosing heat that way.
Or may be it's time to replace the element in your electric oven.
