i am in the middle of baking 2 cakes & i ran out of veg oil. is there anything i can use in place of oil or do i run to the store now? thanks
you can sub some applesauce in its place, but it's never as moist as when you use vegetable oil. I've used olive oil when I was in a pinch and didn't notice a difference in taste.
