I need to make dark red roses for a wedding cake. I have gotten the fondant nice and red but not sure where to go from here to get it dark red. Can anyone give me some help with this? Thanks
Try adding just a touch of black.Start with a VERY small dab and going from there.
I buy red and dark chocolate fondant in 2# tubs. Mix mostly red with a little brown. That's how I got the dark red on this:
try mixing a little red powder with a tiny tiny amount of water (only enough to make it a paste). This makes an intense red.
