This probably sounds weird (was for me), but... Does anyone has a "good" no eggs and no milk cake recipe? icon_confused.gif

Thanks in advance.

You can always use egg substitute and soy milk in place of the other in your regular recipe. If you use almond milk, it will take longer to cook.

There are all sorts of delicious vegan cake recipes out there. This one is good:

http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Vegan-Chocolate-Cake/Detail.aspx

When my DD was trying out veganism, I bought this book, and the recipes were enjoyed by the whole family:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/1569757143/?tag=cakecentral-20

And this book doesn't have a bad recipe in it, I still use many of the recipes, even though DD gave up the idea of eating purely vegan:

Good luck!

ditto on the vegan suggestion. I had a client who needed vegan cupcakes. I found a recipe online and they were delicious!!

In your opinion... Which one is better?

Well, the allrecipes.com is a delicious, easy, basic chocolate cake recipe. No one even suspects they have no eggs or dairy! I make this recipe often!

But the Vegan Cupcakes book has some recipes that you might not find anywhere else. My DD loves the Crimson Velvet, Espresso, and Tiramisu recipes. I think we've tried every recipe in the book and none have been disappointing.

The chocolate "wacky cake" recipe using vinegar is really tasty. Not so much fresh out of the oven but the next day its really good!
