I'm looking for a picture of a monogram made to look like it's made of branches but can't find one. Has anyone done this? I'm making a fall wedding cake with acorns, pinecones and lots of leaves and thought this would look nice as the topper.

it looks like fondant/gumpaste mix that is rolled into sausages, formed into the "K" shape, and a smaller rope of fondant/gumpaste that is wrapped around the "K"

What you can do is roll sausages of gumpaste and form into the monograms, let dry and the use a stiff small paintbrush and paint brown royal icing onto them. The icing has to be medium to thick, so that you can paint the bark realistically. Let dry and then if you want you can either drybrush some petal dust into the grooves or luster dust for shine and bling
