I've read many complaints about the Cricut Cake Fondant Frosting Sheets tearing/ripping when cutting with the Cricut Cake Machine. Has anyone had any success making their own Frosting Sheets for the Cricut Cake Machine and cutting them with the machine? If I wanted to make my own fondant frosting sheets for the Cricut Cake Machine, would I follow a basic Rolled Fondant Recipe? Do you have a recipe that works really well?
The frosting sheets are NOT fondant. They are simply frosting sheets. I have used the Cricut gumpaste and made rolled out to make "sheets", following the instructions from cricut and it's worked beautifully - you freeze the sheets before using.
