What can I do to my lemon cake box mix to turn it into strawberry lemonade? I have strawberry torani syrup, but I don't know how much to add or even if that would taste good. Any ideas?

It means making a lot of batter but you can do this as a swirl cake. Make a batch of lemon cake and a second batch of strawberry. Swirl the 2 batters together like a marble cake. You can always bake cupcakes or small cakes w/the leftover batter and then freeze them.

I'm pretty sure that you can change the water in your cake mix for the syrup. I used vanilla hazelnut creamer in place of water in my cake and it came out great.

i make strawberry lemonade cupcakes that are a customer favorite. i make a strawberry puree out of fresh strawberries, sugar, and a bit of cornstarch (if really soupy...depends on ripeness of berries). mix that with your lemon batter and add a touch of pink food color (otherwise it with bake up brownish). i top them with lemon cream cheese frosting and a sliced strawberry.
