Pastrychef.com also sells them. 100 per pack.
These are adorable but isn't charging $3.00 each a bit cheap considering how much they cost? I was thinking of using them to bring to work for craft day but not really sure what to charge. Looks like it would be quite a bit of work to make 250 of these. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
since they hold 2 minis i would think u wouldnt be able to charge much more than that, but u r right, thats not much for time and materials!! it may not be worth the time!
never mind... the powers that be on the photo gallery page took it off because it wasn't "decorated."
here's a link instead to the pics...

Bye!
they push up pretty well, not too fast/slow. the cake/icing stays put while you're eating it.
the lids seem airtight, they just snap on and are domed at the top so you can fit a little more icing/decorations on top, which is nice.
my kids (ages 5, 7, 14) have had them, and no mess, which I am very thankful for!
re: the pricing, I figured it out to be about $1.10 per push pop, including the packaging. so $2 seems fairly reasonable. I can get 24 per cake batch using 2 mini cupcakes, plus icing and toppings. I'd like to charge more, but I don't think my area will support it. I get raised eyebrows asking for $.75 for a standard cupcake.

.75??? wow, thats tough!!! i get at least 2.25 for a standard, but i try to push the jumbos for 3.5, i like them the most! i just dont know if the profit margin will be there. i hate to say i dont want to get them, what if they just explode, but it seems like a lot of wk for just .50!
I was looking for one of the stands for these push pops, and the only sites that had them were backordered into December. so I found these accidentally... I think they may work, the measurements look good... ice cream cone holders! here's a link...

It's not as big as the other one, but it'll work for a small display! woo hoo!

This is soooo cool! Awesome! I'm going to do this!
Thanks for the post! LOVE this site!
while searching for more info on these, i came across this http://www.yumsugar.com/Push-Pop-style-Cake-Shooters-9174936
??
wonder if this is what happens when they get shipped to you in the summer, or if the promotional photos is a lot of 'food doctoring' like you see on menus & commercials....

I'd seen that post (blog) before too....I want to think that those were old. BUT I know I wouldn't have a desire to ship them anywhere. I'd love to try to make them & have as a party favor

Bye!
I think they look very yummy!!!
IT KILLS ME that CAKE central is now taking pics off of CUT CAKE (as in a demo of how the cake looked AFTER being cut) & CAKE push-pops......but you gotta love those cookies! LMBO!
they also took off my cupcake in a jar posting...it was a strawberry cupcake layered with strawberry preserves, cream cheese frosting and pink ribbon sprinkles..."it wasnt decorated"...to me i see no difference in that and a "hamburger" cupcake..they are layered...and nothing on the top...is it because it is in the jar or container? i see cupcakes in containers on this site all the time...oh well....
there are cake shooters posted in the gallery right now...will be interesting to see how long they las there
I don't get it, either. maybe it depends on who's in charge of pics that day! I think I saw the small pic of yours on the home page... they look great! of course, when you click on it, it says that the picture doesn't exist. in any case, they look nice!
My traditional Christmas cookies were taken off and I was told they were not decorated so they were not allowed, my cookies are so intricately cut and shaped they take forever, I guess decorations here mean bc or fondant only.
