You know that pretty pumpkin cake that was posted recently: it was made in two bundt pans, and then stacked one on top of the other and then covered in orange fondant. Is it possible to make this cake with a bc covering instead of fondant? Think it would work?

I do. (haven't seen the cake you're referring to, but it would be easy to ice in BC since you can take advantage of the fact that it doesn't need to be perfectly smoothed.) Have fun with it!

I have done it, I think that I have it posted on my photo's, I just used a crusting buttercream, and molded the grooves in with the side of my hand.

Thanks! I'm thinking this might be fun for Thanksgiving.
