How can you get to a nice khaki colored butter cream? Or fondant for that matter! I've tried, but it always ends up with a ivory or peachy tone to it. Any ideas?

What color(s) are you using?

I'd go with either a tiny bit of Wilton gel paste brown and keep adding until it achieves your desired color OR try the americolor liquid ivory and keep adding until you get there. Maybe even a combo of both??

Hi, i just looked it up for you. It is 3 pts. lemon yellow, 2 pts violet, and a touch of mint green. hth I am told that you mix up each color of buttercream and then use your buttercream to achieve your goal.
