What Do I Use For Shoting Stars On A Cake?

for the cakes with the stars popping out of them what type of wire is best to use? I tried doing this once but the wire kept ripping my cake icon_cry.gif how can I prevent this?

If you insert a coffee stir straw into the cake then insert the wire into the straw, it won't rip your cake.

Bunch up your stars and insert them into a posy pick or spike/flower holder

I agree...I use the coffee stir straws all the time, they are perfect!

I usually use a posy pick/flower spike as well to put wires in the cake. Then a little fondant in the bottom for the wires to stick into and hold their place.
