How would you create a portfolio of your cakes? I am wanting to get a job at a local bakery since I LOVE making cakes and there is no way I can open my own shop anytime soon. How would I go about making a portfolio to show them what I can do? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

My portfolio is simple - a photo album!
You could add details - what cake, filling, icing, what the decor is made from but I wouldn't hnk it's that important? I don't know! But I think they could tell by looking if u can use fondant or bc, and can do clean work.

If u need to bulk up ur pictures, buy some dummy cakes to use. If u want to practice carved or shaped cakes, you can shape the dummys, or just make real cake and donate it somewhere.
xx
