I have been invited to a home harvest show where Baker'z Joy will be showcased along with other buisness.

I am making a dummy cake for display and making samples.
Any ideas on cakes and frostings to use and/or even a great dummy cake idea??
I was sorta thinking apple cake and red velvet but I know my fellow CC buddies may have some out of the box ideas to help guide me.
What do you guys think???

For one of my flavor options I do a carrot cake with cinnamon buttercream I using the swiss meringue recipe. It seems odd but really good.

How about butterscotch buttercream on yellow cake, or mint buttercream on chocolate?

I love a caramel apple cake - white sponge cake with apple pie filling between the layers, caramel flavored icing (I prefer a whipped, lightweight icing for this one), with more apple pie filling on top, then drizzle with caramel and pecans.

Or maybe an apple spice cake with cream cheese icing?
