Need to make gray fondant for a motorcycle cake due on saturday. I have the silver paint stuff for the "metal" parts, but the painted parts are gray. Couldn't find gray coloring in cake supply stores. Any suggestions on how to make gray? Thanks!

What you need is some black food coloring. The first time I made gray fondant it turned kinda blue-ish, which I made it with Wilton fondant and coloring. After that happened I asked on here and did what everyone else said to do: buy Americolor coloring and use a different kind of fondant. If you have a Hobby Lobby around where you live they've started carrying Americolor on the cake decorating aisle. I use Satin Ice fondant but some people have been having some problems with it.
