Hello fellow CC'S

As i am a total noob in the land of cake decorating, i seek out any excuse to make a cake "for a purpose". This weekend a girl that works at the same store as myself is having her birthday celebration. We are friends, but only on a work level, so i dont know too much about her personal likes and tastes EXCEPT that she is a really talented dancer in all genres from ballet, jazz and contemporary and attends a dance academy on weekdays, and works the weekends at our store. I know she loves musical theatre and so i was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a cake??
It only needs to be on a small scale because there will only be 5 of us at work... i haven't seen the musicals rent or fame etc (uncultured!!) but was beginning to think i would make my own interpretation of debbie browns "wild west dancers"... anyway i'd love to hear from you...

I don't want to do the stereotypical "pink ballet slipper" cake because i would ideally like to incorporate other ideas...

a bit picky i know!! icon_razz.gif

thank you all anyway for taking the time to consider this msg!

Heres a few cakes that might give you some ideas. Of course, just scale down to what you need.

Hope this gives you a start!! If I think of anything else, I'll post again!
