very first wedding cake in October, Im terrified , She wants a 10" 8" and a 6", looks fairly simple I think, but dont they all. Cant wait to start cooking again.
Take your time, do your homework. Lots of tutorials on YouTube. Structure is the most important thing...making sure it's stable and secure and then the rest is just your basic making of a cake. Good luck!

I read the Smitten Kitchen blog (among all the other cooking blogs... lol) and in 2008 Deb made a wedding cake as a present for her friends. Advice poured from all over, hundreds of entries. I think I got a cake education. I filtered a lot of good stuff from those entries, making sure I didn't pick up the bad.
