I'm pretty new to decorating and I've got a silly question. What are candy melts and what do you use them for? I've seen them at walmart and michaels and I've just been wondering. Thanks!

Candy melts have several purposes, depending on who you ask...lol. They are either chocolate, or white chocolate that easily melts, hence their name. You can either use them in molds and make candies, or add corn syrup to it and make modeling chocolate. Modeling chocolate can be used for multiple things, like flowers or figurines. Candy melts can also be used for adhering things to cake. I think I've even seen them used for flavoring in fondant. HTH icon_smile.gif
