Urgent Question! Glycerin

Is the glycerin found in the band aid/skin aisle the same as the glycerin used in fondant? It says glycerin 99.5%.

Michael's is all out and I'm right in the middle if making it!

I'd like to know the answer to this as well, in any event, I do know that in general health food stores like Sprouts, Henry's (not sure if you have those where you are) carry a food grade glycerin in their vitamin and supplement area. You can ask someone to lead you there...

If the product is USP glycerin, it's food/medical grade:
(seems there was a contamination issue...)
