Is it okay to freeze sugar cookies with rolled buttercream? I just made a batch of rolled buttercream and I wanted to use it on my cookies and just pull them out of the freezer as needed for bake sales coming up. icon_smile.gif

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. Are you able to package and stack the cookies with the rolled bc? It's such a nice smooth look without having to use fondant, It tastes so much better. I've never tried it on cookies.

I appreciate you for answering me. I have used rolled buttercream on my sugar cookies and have gotten a lot of compliments. I wanted to know if I could take the easy way out and just make them, put the buttercream on and freeze them ! I do my daughters bake sales at her meets and figured maybe I could pull out about 10 at a time. Hopefully someone will have the answer!
