I am having a really hard time finding the globe sets from wilton.I don't have time to order them online now..... My Michaels used to carry them but they have discontinued them.

they use the globes as bases for the animals - would it work to just make it out of fondant and use the hidden pillars through them? any other ideas??

What about styrofoam balls?

I had the same thought as TexasSugar: styrofoam balls. Fondant balls might add a lot of extra weight?
