Has anyone tried King Arthur Cake Enhancer? On the king arthur website, there is a product called cake enhancer that is supposed to make scratch cakes more moist. Anyone try it?

I bought some, but haven't tried it. The directions say to add so much to your cake batter (can't remember the amount). But my problem is I have different recipes that yield different amounts of batter. So if I add say 1/2 cup to a batter that makes 2 8" cakes then I should be adding more to a batter that makes 3 9" cakes. I would rather get a more precise direction like 1/2 cup for so many cups of flour or something like that.

I've been meaning to write and ask them, but I really haven't a need for this. It was more a curiousity thing for me than anything else.

Let me know if you use. I would be interested to know the outcome.

LindaF144, in the comments, it says about 1/4 cup to 3 to 3.5 cups of flour... http://www.kingarthurflour.com/shop/items/cake-enhancer-8-oz#reviews

dcb - Thank you! I hadn't taken the time to research this and this is good to know.
