Hi.. My name is Cassidy. I have to make a cake that looks like the tire on Lightning McQueen for my brother's 5th birthday and I have never done anything with fondant before. So I figured I'd try it. I need an easy recipe for gumpaste.. & the fondant recipe would be nice also. Thank you so much.

Easy gum paste....
1 egg white
2 cups of sifted powder sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp Tylose
mix all and use right away if needed.

For your first time with fondant, especially black! I would buy it, adding so much colour makes it dificult to work with (although u can start with chocolate as a base). Plus it let's u learn how it should work, so u can be prepared for homemade.
I u do want to make it, try mmf or mff. A very simple like gumpaste thing is to then add some tylose to ur fondant.
