Do pirouette cookies come in different flavors? I have to do a luau cake this weekend, and I see that a lot of people use them for the bamboo. I love the way they look and think they would taste better than fondant bamboo....but the recipient is allergic to chocolate. I have never looked anywhere for these cookies or noticed them in my grocery store. Are they sold at pretty much all grocery stores? I am assuming in the cookie aisle?

I get mine in the cookie aisle at any grocery store. I've seen them come in French Vanilla and Hazelnut Chocolate, but I think there are more flavors icon_smile.gif

The ones I bought were white chocolate so I would thing there is still some cocoa butter present there. You could make them yourself as well without the chocolate filling. Here is a link to a recipe for them.

They aren't too difficult - I have made them as part of my christmas baking before.

Target even had ones that were strawberry filled ...you might check it out what flavors they have available.
