i have a cake to do today and my husband took my car cus his car is in the shop and i live 20 miles from town..my dilemma is i have a cake order for this sunday..i have to leave friday so i figured i could make the cake today and leave it in my cake fridge(a fridge strictly for cakes) and my sister was going to deliver it for me...my problem is ran out of heavy cream..does anyone know if the buttercream will be fine if i use 2%milk??ive never done that so i dont know if my buttercream will be dry or if it will show cracks..help!!. icon_cry.gif .thanks icon_smile.gif)

i don't know the recipe you are using so I couldn't say whether 2% would be ok. I never have to use milk in my bc unless I want to.

I almost always use 2% milk in my BC. I use IndyDebi's recipie. No problems!
