I am wondering how I can take a cake recipe and make it my own. I'm not YET in business, but may be considering one soon.

Therefore, I would like to be able to use a recipe, but one which I created so that it could be my signature.

How do most professionals create such a recipe? Any ideas on how or where to start?

thanks,
Lisa

Hi

I'm just starting out with my own business and am trying out different recipes. my sugestion is to try recipes out on your friends see what works and what doesn't. I have a carrot cake recipe that asks for dessicated coconut but I don't really like that bit so I will probably reduce the amount next time.

also you need to think about what market you are aiming for and to look for recipes that will go down well with it.

hope this is useful icon_eek.gif
