I am making a 2 tier cake with fondant icing and was wondering what the best way to stack the cakes is?

There are a few ways to do this. Check out this video by CC member Tonedna:

Also have a look at this SPS thread: http://cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-603925.html - instructions on page 15 but you should read everything for lots of tips. I have used this system with success but you will have to order the plates and legs, so it will depend on how much time you have to get the supplies.

I strongly recommend checking out Tonedna too! She is a fantastic decorator with the heart of a teacher! I also recommend using the SPS system as well. It's not expensive, it's easy to use and for me...takes the stress out of delivery! HTH!

I have great success with bubble tea straws as my supports. They are inexpensive (you can find them on ebay) and very easy to cut.
