Has anyone had any experience with using the rice krispie treats, for modelling like they do in USA. I have used modelling paste for a palm tree trunk, and it still has not dried yet, they seem to use the rice krispie way on CakeCentral also has anyone any ideas on how to make what looks like coral for a sea scene.
Would appreciate any feed back on this

Have a nice day everyone and take care FRIDAY 13TH

I have only tried once but it was easy and much lighter than gumpaste modelling.
Not clever enough to send links but if you look in my photo's its the 'In the night garden cake'.
The cake was made in June and the little girl still has the figures and they haven't gone mouldy.
I Like the texture the RKT gave to the figures but I would say you have to really squash them together hard!
I would also try breaking/smashing the rice krispies to get a tighter figure with less bumps.
Beware though the mixture is moreish...family ate the first batch! icon_smile.gif
