Does anybody know who owns the copyright (I assume there is one) to this image so I can call and ask for permission? Would it be Willy Wonka the candy company? The studio that did the original movie? I wasn't able to find anything by doing a Google search. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I just looked on the bag of wonka chocolates we have in the freezer and it says it's trademarked to nestle in switzerland. not sure if it's different then the other chocolate bars. HTH

control could rest with Wolper Productions (the original production company), the distributor or even some other entity such as a university depending upon how rights to Wolper's movies have been managed.

(some directors donate copyrights to universities or other charitable organizations as a way of giving them continuing income. Most notable example: Agatha Christie and the rights to her stage play "The Mousetrap." The Girl Scouts of England have made a small fortune from owning the rights she gave them.)
