I am new to cake decorating and I was wondering how do I keep my icing from cracking on the top of my cake when trying to put it in the box?

The reason the icing is cracking is because your cake board is flexing. Use a stiffer board or more layers of cardboard for your base.

I agree with sewsweet...your board is buckling....use a foil drum or foamcore thumbs_up.gif
