but I can't believe that she called you about the cake today when she just got married yesterday! Shouldn't she be doing newlywed things? .
I know what you're saying but just think if she called 2-3 weeks later. Then we'll complain she took so long. I know some people have in their contract that any issues of the cake must be brought to attention within 24-48 hours.
Boxes for leftovers? That's a new one....
no kidding.....
we did our honeymoon 6 months after the wedding, that way I could plan each one separately.

Many brides leave on Mondays in my area for Saturday weddings. I think its just less exhausting and they probably get better deals from the airlines, etc.
loriemoms, did she accept the $100 to resolve it?
Yes, she accepted it...and it is all resolved! She did tell me many guest told her it was the best tasting wedding cake they ever had... So I think she walked away fairly happy.
that's good! it's nice to hear when both sides can walk away feeling it was properly resolved.
