Pearl dust is usually a white looking dust, think of an actual pearl, that little shimmer of sparkle. Some of them have hints of color undertones.

Luster dusts are dust that are metallic or shimmery and are in other shades of colors, from blue to green to gold and silver and so on. The remind me of the eyeshadow.

The difference is Wiltons Pearl Dust, which other than the white would be what everyone else refers to as luster dusts.

those you tube videos are really helpful! Thanks
so, TexasSugar, the Wilton Pearl Dust is the same as luster dust? Wonder why they would name it that, just makes it more complicated!

Because they are Wilton. icon_smile.gif I'm not really sure.

I will say though, there dusts are FDA approved which means they are edible and not just non-toxic like alot of the other dusts out there.

The only other one I know that has edible dusts is Crystal Colors.
