I found a cupcake recipe that I would like to try but it doesnt contain any baking powder. Will my cupcakes still rise without the powder? It does however contain baking soda and cake flour (not sure if that would matter).

Thanks!!

It will still rise as the cake flour contains the rising agent..Should be good!!

Baking soda is a leavening agent too so you have nothing to worry about... they will rise just fine! icon_smile.gif

baking soda is a leavening agent so you should be good to go. Cake flour is a specially milled flour it does not contain a leavening agent though.
