So, I was looking forward to making my first wedding cake this weekend. Bride emails me Thursday - she came home from work Wed - hubby and his stuff are moved out! Feel terrible for her.
Maybe I'll just make it anyways! I really wanted it for my portfolio! Oh well, guess there will be another!
Oh how sad! But then, I guess it's better the bride and groom find out now that they weren't right for eachother than later. If you were going to make it anyway for your portfolio, why not use cake dummies instead? Unless you have enough people around who will eat your cake where it won't go to waste.

I have a family member who is getting divorced after just 1 year of marriage...heartbreaking!
