I'm making a shower cake for my sister's shower on Saturday and she wants cupcakes in addition to her cake. Can I use the same batter for the cupcakes? Does it cook at the same temp and for how long? I usually used the doctored up cake mix recipes like WASC.

It would be perfect b/c I usually have leftover batter that I end up baking a smaller cake that we just eat!

Yes you can make cupcakes with the same batter. Why not?
They will bake at the same temp just for a shorter time. Mine take about 15 mins.
