I have a wedding cake that the bride is wanting white chocolate shavings all over the cake. How do you get them to stick to the sides? Or how do you get them on the sides? Any suggestions?

I did a Christmas cake in which I placed the large granulated decorating sugar on the side. I made sure the BC was still moist (not crusted). I had a spray bottle of water handy to lightly mist the cake if needed.
