What is the best method for attaching fondant/gumpaste pieces together? I'm trying to make a shoe, and I'm unsure as to how I need to put the cut out pieces together. Any help is greatly appreciated! The mom just called and said they moved the party up one day, so I need to have the cake done by Saturday instead of Sunday!

I use gum glue...which is just a pasty glue you make by disolving gumpaste into warm water then use a paint brush to put it on. Works great.
